Meet Angela Wommack

Angela Wommack, owner of W House Designs, is a woman who has turned her passion for monogramming into a thriving business. Her journey began when she needed a napmat monogrammed for her oldest son, and she decided to give it a try herself. She quickly realized that she loved monogramming, and could do it from home while raising her children. After a year of working out of her kitchen, she built a workroom in her new house and invested in a 16-needle machine, and her business took off.
Angela is a proud Waco native and loves the community. She appreciates the small-town feel of Waco, but also the growth it has experienced in the last ten years, which has brought great restaurants and unique shopping options. Angela’s business, WHouseDesigns, is all about fast, reliable work with exceptional customer service. She creates quality products and only sells items that she would put her own children in.
As a mother of three boys, Angela’s days are never the same. She works during nap time and whenever she can find a spare moment. But her love for a good to-do list and her organizational skills keep her on track. Angela’s attention to detail and planning skills have been a great help to her business, and she has learned a lot from the embroidery community on social media.
Angela’s favorite part of her job is meeting customers from all over and hearing the stories behind the pieces she is stitching. She loves being a part of special occasions, sports events, birthdays, weddings, and more. As her business continues to grow, she has added vendors and new products, fonts, and options. The options for monogramming are endless, and Angela loves working with customers who want something specific.
Looking ahead to the next five to ten years, Angela sees a more organized and predictable schedule, with structured work hours. But for now, she is happy with her fast-paced days and the ability to be her own boss while raising her children. Angela is grateful for her relationship with Jesus, her husband’s support, and her three boys. The one piece of advice she would give to someone starting out in their own adventure of owning a business is to find something you enjoy doing, and surround yourself with people you can trust to help excel and expand your business.
Angela’s business, WHouseDesigns, is a testament to the power of passion, hard work, and dedication. Her story is an inspiration to anyone who has a dream they want to pursue. Angela has built a loyal following both in Waco and around the country. As her business continues to grow and change, one thing remains the same: Angela’s love for monogramming and her commitment to quality work.
