There have been several Baylor alumni that have gone on to be familiar faces in television, music, and comedy. So, we’ve put together a list of some of the most noteworthy and famous people who attended Baylor University.

Here's a List of Celebrities Who Attended Baylor University!

Before graduating from Baylor in 1993, Angela Kinsey was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and very active in the theater scene at Baylor University. Since then, she’s become a very familiar face to many, especially after her role in the sitcom, The Office.

Trey Gowdy is a former politician and federal prosecutor who graduated from Baylor in 1986. During his time as a prosecutor, he was appointed as an assistant United States attorney. He is currently a contributor with Fox News and New York Times Best Selling Author.

After being honorably discharged from the air force due to physical health problems, Willie Nelson attended Baylor for approximately two years. During this time, he studied agriculture and participated in a fraternity. However, his time at Baylor was short, as he dropped out to pursue his musical career. Since then, he has become a prominent face in country music and the film industry.

Jeff Dunham majored in Communications at Baylor. After graduating in 1986, his career in comedy became wildly successful. He is now a famous ventriloquist and stand-up comedian. He’s starred in his own television show, The Jeff Dunham Show, along with many others on Comedy Central.

David Crowder is a Christian singer and songwriter that is most famous for being the lead singer in the band “Crowder,” which consists of members who are all from Waco, Texas. Since then, he has launched a very successful solo career in the Christian music industry.

Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV’s Fixer Upper both graduated from Baylor University. Chip graduated in 1998, and Joanna graduated in 2001. Although they both attended at the same time for one semester, they didn’t meet while they were in college. Even in their success, the couple keeps their show focused on the Waco area, including opening their headquarters in Waco.
