Why we love it: “Home baked goods serving North and Central Texas for birthdays, showers, weddings, holidays and more.” Locally owned, Laynie makes beautiful and intricate cookies and confections for all occasions. Why we love it: Lily’s Cakes is a small, family-owned business located in the heart of central Texas. We specialize in customized, hand-made cakes and cupcakes made to order based upon the ideas and requests of the customer. Each of our cakes is unique and special to each occasion and we do our best to make sure that you receive a treat that is not only aesthetically pleasing but one that is also just as delicious.

Why we love it: What started as a fun hobby fifteen years ago has developed into a full-time baking business. I specialize in custom buttercream cakes and delicious hand painted sugar cookies. The business was started and inspired by the owner’s grandfather, where she regularly enjoyed making desserts every night with him. Milk Bottle has classic flavors, unique flavors, and cute merchandise for sale as well. Additionally, you can enjoy a cup of coffee alongside your cookie as there is a wide list of coffee orders on the menu. With easy online ordering, there’s no reason not to stop by here!
Why we love it: We do custom cakes for all occassions. We have a counter full of cookies, bars, cupcakes and much more. Come by for a dessert that is Simply Delicious. We also have a counter full of baked items that you can walk in and purchase. There are always cookies, cupcakes, bars, cakeballs and more available. Bakery looks forward to creating the perfect dessert for your special occasion! We are open Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm and Saturday 8am-Noon.

Why we love it: Sugar Doodles, based on the owner’s love for golden/labradoodles, is a delicious choice. The cookies are perfect with her ice cream and makes for a top tier ice cream sandwich! The friendliness, vibrance, and pink color theme is the sprinkle on top. Sugar Doodles caters many events local to Waco area and has a cookie trailer to book!
Why we love it: “I run a small home-based custom cookie business and I can make cookies for just about any occasion!” Leah also does monthly classes at The Findery for anyone that wants to learn her art. “My signature and most popular cookie is vanilla bean. Some other flavors are strawberry lemonade, mini chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, chocolate, peanut butter and peanut butter chocolate chip. You can have a different flavor per dozen, so for example if you order two dozen you can get two flavors total if you wish. I offer seasonal flavors as well.”
