Upon entering this beautifully built home, we knew it was the perfect fit for our family. With incredible natural light, high vaulted ceilings, and an open concept, it was the exact description of what we were looking for— a home in which we would love raising our girls and a great place to entertain family and friends.
We worked with Traci Connell Interiors of Dallas in furnishing our house, primarily because of her ease of glamour concept. She chooses furniture, fabrics, and accessories not only based on beauty but also functionality. Considering everything from fabric guard & stain resistant rugs, to a multi-purpose room serving as a bar for the adults and a playroom for our kids, we are able to enjoy our home without worrying about red wine spills on the white couch or the kids coloring on a dining room chair.
Above: This open concept design features plenty of space for entertaining as well as tons of natural light. The arched stonework adds dimension to the room and highlights the vaulted ceilings. The expansive walls allow for non-traditional placement of art and accessories.
Opposite: The bar and lounge space took a nod from our beloved days at University of Texas combining the same steel blue with a pop of caramel to bring in a more casual look. Kids toys are carefully stored behind the sofa for easy access which makes this room work for both grown ups and children.
