Above: The new steel and glass front doors add a modern touch to this transitional home. The laundry room features whimsical 3D octagon tile in the dog washing station and a handy drying cabinet with mesh doors for hanging laundry to air dry.

Opposite: The study was designed for the woman of the house. She requested feminine touches, so designer Jana Valdez of Haven Design and Construction, selected smaller scale furniture pieces. The back of the bookcases feature a metallic wallpaper with a vine motif that is repeated on the back of the gray velvet chairs in front of the desk.

Opposite: The master bath was dark and dated before it was transformed into a light and bright sanctuary for relaxing. Now, it’s the picture of elegance with a soaring 22’ cupola that features a cascading capiz shell chandelier and a metallic and marble accent wall behind the freestanding tub.

Above: The master bedroom wallpaper mimics the mosaic tile design in the master bath. The curved walk-in master shower is bathed in natural light from a row of windows. The home’s guest bath features a “mother of pearl” herringbone tile inset in the shower and a waterfall countertop at the vanity.
